Built in 1903 and thoughtfully renovated in 2008, Whistlepig Farm blends the warmth of an old country home with the creativity of a modern art gallery. Large windows frame beautiful views of Hominy Valley, while five peaceful acres invite you to wander, relax, and reconnect with nature.
A simple self-serve breakfast is provided each morning and includes fresh farm eggs, oatmeal, yogurt and granola, toast, seasonal fruit, coffee, and tea.
Bathroom Information
Our historic farmhouse was designed for a different era, so bathroom space is shared among guests.Inside the farmhouse:
One full upstairs bathroom with a shower
One downstairs half bath (vanity and toilet)
Additional bathroom and shower facilities are available in the retreat center right next door.Most guests find that with the additional retreat center facilities, everyone is able to get ready comfortably while enjoying the relaxed pace of the retreat.

The tent is powered with a solar panel. There is a portable composting toilet and wash station. The event center nearby has flush toilets and a shower. Perched in the converted attic of the farmhouse, The Loft is one of Whistlepig Farm's most unique spaces. Filled with colorful artwork, playful angles, and abundant character, it offers a relaxed, communal atmosphere that many retreat participants come to love.
