Ancient Yoga Center Guidelines
Please take a moment to review the following guidelines and information provided by the Ancient Yoga Center:
You can visit their site at http://www.ancientyogacenter.com. If you have any further questions about your accommodations, please email chris@ancientyogacenter.org.
In order to enhance your visit, and to maintain the serene ashram environment at Radha Madhav Dham and the Ancient Yoga Center, we request that you please adhere to the following guidelines:
Out of respect for our Hindu ashram culture, please wear modest attire while walking outdoors and in public areas, specifically, covering the shoulders, chest and legs. Avoid wearing shorts above the knee and sports bras or spaghetti straps without a shirt over it. These guidelines do not apply while inside the AYC building or inside other (yoga) practice spaces during a retreat class. If you would like to visit the Temple and you are wearing yoga attire, please also wear a skirt or sarong.
Smoking, illegal drugs, alcohol, and non-vegetarian foods (including eggs) are prohibited.
Shoes worn outside are not worn inside any of the ashram buildings. However, bedroom type slippers or indoor only shoes are permitted in all buildings (except the Temple where no shoes are worn).
Entry or swimming in any ponds, creeks, pools or fountains located on the grounds is prohibited.
For safety reasons, please refrain from burning candles or incense in your room.
The Ancient Yoga Center is located on the private property of Radha Madhav Dham ashram which has a no-pets policy which includes all animals and support animals as we do not have any facility to accommodate them.
Wi-Fi access is available in overnight accommodations and the Ancient Yoga Center.
Due to the possibility of multiple programs happening simultaneously in other facilities, please enter only those areas designated for your group activities.
To preserve the serene atmosphere of Radha Madhav Dham, please keep noise to a minimum between the hours of 9:00 pm and 6:00 am.
